Earning resources in EVE Galaxy Conquest is crucial to maintaining your fleets and upgrading your home base.
There are several different ways to earn more resources, some of which provide an instant large bonus to your supplies.
Capturing and developing grids
Capturing grids is the most important, as it increases the amount of resources you generate each hour. The higher level the grid, the more it generates. As you capture grids, your influence will increase, allowing you to hold more grids at one time.
Don’t go after grids which are “an impossible battle”, and if they are “an evenly matched fight”, send a recon team first. To do this, tap the grid and tap the radar icon which shows under the grid info. A few seconds later you can tap the report button where the recon one was and see what is the optimal fleet setup to send to that grid.
Tap the grid, then Capture from the radial menu. Select the fleet to battle for the grid spot and if successful, the fleet will then capture the grid.
You can develop captured grids to increase their level and the amount of resources they generate per hour. Just tap the Develop button from the radial menu on a grid. This is great for quickly upgrading your grids if you hold a lot of lower levelled ones.
Mining on captured grids
Tap Mine from the radial menu on a grid and you can send one of your fleets to mine it. This will yield a large amount of resources, but you can only do five mining actions per day, so use them wisely.
Destroying Supply Fleets
Supply fleets may spawn around your home base. Tap them to see their route and then deploy one of your fleets to intercept their path. Your fleet will automatically attack the supply fleet and steal resources from them if successful.
Trading existing resources
Once you have built the Trade Center, you can trade resources you already have for different ones. The yield to loss ratio is very high without an upgraded Trade Center, and it is better to capture and upgrade your existing grids than to regularly trading.
Buying from the market
Once you have constructed the Market there will be different items to buy on a rotating timer. Some of these are a 1:1 trade for resources, which makes it far more efficient than the Trade Center.
Upgrading your refinaries
The early game races you through the chapters without explaining the importance of pacing yourself. Make sure to upgrade your Refinaries as often as possible, as this increases the amount of resources per hour your grids produce.
Remember to also upgrade your Vault so you can store all of the extra resources.
Completing Missions
Missions provide a range of rewards, but also provide a small boost to resources, especially the chapter rewards.
